At Dasanni Speaks, every handcrafted piece is created with intention, care, and purpose. Because our jewelry is handcrafted body jewelry and many pieces are made specifically for each customer, all sales are considered final.
For the health, safety, and peace of mind of every customer, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an item has been shipped. As body jewelry comes into direct contact with the skin, we cannot verify how an item has been handled after delivery, making it unsuitable for resale.
We appreciate your understanding as this policy allows us to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, craftsmanship, and quality for every customer.

Hypoallergenic Materials & Sensitive Skin
At Dasanni Speaks, we carefully select high-quality, ethically sourced materials for every handcrafted piece.
Many of our jewelry options are made using premium hypoallergenic metals, including 14KT Gold Filled, Sterling Silver, and other quality materials selected for both beauty and comfort.
As someone with sensitive skin myself, I understand how important it is to wear jewelry you can feel confident in. That’s one of the reasons I have always been intentional about choosing quality materials for my collections.
Over the years, I have proudly handcrafted and shipped more than 14,500 pieces of jewelry, and I have never received a confirmed report of a customer experiencing a skin reaction due to the materials used in my jewelry. While every person’s skin is unique, I remain committed to using materials that I personally trust and wear.
Individual Skin Sensitivities
While our jewelry is designed using high-quality materials, every individual’s skin and body chemistry are different.
Customers are responsible for understanding their own metal sensitivities, allergies, and skin conditions before making a purchase.
If you are unsure which metal is best for your skin, we encourage you to contact us before placing your order. We’re happy to discuss the available options and help you choose the material that best fits your needs.
Because individual skin reactions are influenced by many factors outside of our control—including allergies, medications, skin chemistry, lotions, perfumes, and environmental conditions—Dasanni Speaks cannot guarantee compatibility for every individual.
Product Expectations
Each piece is individually handcrafted.
Because every item is handmade, slight variations may occur in:
- Shape
- Wire placement
- Stone placement
- Color variations in natural materials
These small differences are part of what makes every Dasanni Speaks piece unique and are not considered defects.
If We Make a Mistake
If you receive the wrong item due to an error on our part, we’ll make it right.
You will not be required to return the incorrect item.
Instead, we will:
- Handcraft your correct item.
- Ship it at no additional cost.
- Prioritize production whenever possible.
- Provide a 10% discount toward your next Dasanni Speaks purchase as our thank-you for your patience.
Please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item received
- A brief description of the issue
Refund Requests
Refunds are not part of our standard policy.
However, we recognize that exceptional situations may arise.
Refund requests are reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and may be approved solely at the discretion of Dasanni Speaks.
Examples may include:
- We are unable to meet an expedited shipping commitment due to an error on our part.
- A confirmed fulfillment issue that cannot reasonably be corrected through replacement.
- Other unique situations where we determine that issuing a refund is the fairest resolution.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Shipping Damage
If your package arrives damaged during transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Photos of the shipping box
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the damaged item
This documentation helps us work with the shipping carrier and determine the best resolution.
Jewelry Care
To help preserve the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted jewelry, we recommend:
- Removing jewelry before swimming or bathing.
- Avoiding exposure to perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and harsh chemicals.
- Storing jewelry in a dry location when not being worn.
- Following the care instructions included with your order.
Proper care helps extend the life and appearance of your jewelry.
